Hello Friends :)
I am pleased to tell you all that the plan is now in motion. I found some really cheap cookbooks (1 crock pot, and 1 stove top) and are now awaiting their arrival. Overall I spent $11.00 including shipping. Actually the shipping costed more than the books did. They should arrive between now and Nov 9th.
I'm all excited about this. Maybe I can even incorporate some dishes into the upcoming holidays. Speaking of holidays, 2 of my favorite ones are coming up; Thanksgiving and Christmas :D Also coming up is my birthday in December.
I don't have definite plans yet for my b-day, but I at least want to go see a movie called "The Tourist" starring Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie. In November, I hope to see the new Harry Potter movie.
In Wizard news, it looks like Celestia is going live on Wednesday. I don't think I'll be testing any more. If I do play Wiz 101 today it may be on live working on my myth/ice combo.
Everyone have a great night/day.
Hey I got a good one for you if you need a book for basic techniques and definitions: "Saving Dinner Basics: How to Cook Even If You Don't Know How" by Leanne Ely. You can find it at Amazon for very cheap. It has all the very basic info about tools and techniques plus recipes. I think this is a great thing to work on. Once you get used to cooking you'll be surprised how easy and fun (or difficult if you're into that) it can be. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteooh thanks. I checked it out and ended up getting that one too. Only spent $0.84 on the book with $3.99 shipping. I love getting stuff cheap! :D
